Surgical Technician, 378th Expeditionary Medical Squadron, Prince Sultan Air Force Base Senior Airman Dulniawka, entered the United States Air Force as a Surgical Technician, attending Basic Training in 2018. As a member of the 190th Medical Group Kansas Air National Guard, she has gained experience throughout the country. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Medical Biochemistry from Kansas State University. In the deployed setting, she is the primary assistant to our surgeon, Captain Tyler Gilliland. In the event of a patient requiring damage control resuscitation surgery, she assists in the critical life-saving care provided by the team. Other responsibilities include prepping patients for surgery, managing surgical instrument sets, overseeing surgical instrument sterilization, as well as serves as equipment custodian and assists the medical services administrator with ordering medical supplies.
